Artwork submission form for the Edinburgh Macmillan Art Show 2024 which will be held
live from November 29 to December 1, 2024
at the Cornerstone Centre (St John’s Church, Princes Street, Edinburgh EH2 4BJ) and
online from November 30 to December 8, 2024.

The Show exhibits work of artists based in Scotland, and Scottish artists based elsewhere. Each year the Curation team invite back selling artists from the previous two years, along with new artists who may not have participated before, and guarantee participation to them. Further to this, we welcome applications from other artists, both new to the Show and previous participants, through the Open Call – submissions will be considered by the curation selection panel for exhibition.

Price (in £) *Based on sales experience, this year we are especially interested in artworks no larger than 100cm x 100cm and up to £800. However, we will consider larger and more expensive works too.

Image Guidelines

As part of the Show is online again this year, the quality of the artwork images submitted is very important – good quality images can help a buyer decide to buy. We suggest:

High resolution images - at least 1000 pixels along the length and width. We will compress the images if needed for fitting on the website
As straight on an angle as possible - no skew to the top/bottom/sides
No glare, preferably in natural light
At least one image including the frame if the artwork is framed
Removing as much of the background behind the painting as possible
